Chances are, you're looking to apply for a job on LinkedIn Jobs, but struggling to write a cover letter that separates you from the crowd.
Which is why in this blog post, I'll be covering the tool you'll need to start generating cover letters that get you seen.
The tool we'll be using to generate your LinkedIn cover letter is called ConnectGenie.
What is ConnectGenie?
It's a LinkedIn Chrome extension designed to help LinkedIn users send personalized connection notes, generate AI comments, write LinkedIn posts, and most importantly, help job seekers land jobs with their cover letter generation.
How it works:
When it comes to generating your cover letter through ConnectGenie, what you firstly need to do is create an account and then download their Chrome extension.
As a first-time user, you will be rewarded 50 credits, which means you can only generate 5 cover letters on your free trial.
Now let’s get into the how part:
Step 1: Head over to Jobs on LinkedIn and select the job position you want to apply for.

Step 2: Click on the ConnectGenie logo that pops right next to…
Step 3: This is where you get to train ConnectGenie’s AI chatbot on your data. You can either upload your resume in PDF format and train it through that or you can train the bot through your LinkedIn profile.

Step 4: Once all of that is done, you are left with generating the cover letter.

Here are the settings you should use when generating your cover letters through ConnectGenie:
Word count: 150
Tonality: Passionate
I noted that by setting the tonality as passionate, ConnectGenie generates better-written cover letters than when you would set a different tonality.
With ConnectGenie, there's no need for you to follow any cover letter frameworks or download any templates since ConnectGenie does it all for you.
