In last week's newsletter titled “The Art of Networking With Connectgenie”
I spoke about a creator transfer into my PayPal account after I shared a short yet personal story comment on his post on threads.
I also said that I'll be breaking down my comment/networking game for LinkedIn, and well, today is the day.
How I upped my Engagement game, follower count, and got recognized by huge Creators/ Entrepreneurs
So I use 2 software:
- Salee (More about it in next week's newsletter) mhhh
I wrote you guys a clear description of what Connectgenie is and how it operates in last week's newsletter title “The Art of Networking With Connectgenie” but here is a short description:
ConnectGenie is a smart tool that helps you improve your networking on LinkedIn. It assists you in writing better connection requests, comments, and personalized notes to make meaningful connections.
My Comment Strategy
So what I do is I set a 30-minute window for me to batch comment because all 30 of the creators I follow all post at the same exact time, which is 15:00 PM South African time (They are all based in the US), so it's probably 09:00 AM US time.
I open up 20-30 LinkedIn tabs each with a different post and I click on the Connectgenie logo icon to activate their AI comment. Before I start the marathon, I set up my settings by choosing a character limit of 50, and no hashtags, and finally, I put it on ChatGPT V3.5. Somehow the comments V3.5 generates are better than that of V4.
After all that's done, I'm just waiting for the gun to go off. Once it has, I choose the tonality of the comment, which is "friendly," and then we are all set.
Connectgenie then scrapes the whole post and generates me a comment. 7/10 of the comments I generate with Connectgenies are on point, and the other 3 not so much, so I make those up with Salee's AI commenter. I normally go with the tonality "friendly," but if I've actually read the post and I don't agree with the creators' thought, then I choose "disagree" and let Salee take it from there.
Now what you will notice when using Salee is that it will generate a complementary comment or add value to that post and then ends the comment with a question. Don't be shocked; it just does that.
You can remove them, but 2/1 of them are always on point, and you would be surprised at the level of engagement that comment would get.
My Networking Strategy
This one depends on who I am networking with, possible clients, or other creators.
When it's with a Creator/Entrepreneur, I use ConnectGenies.
What I would do is go to their best-performing post on the month I use Taplio for that, then click on ConnectGenies logo icon that appears above the post, and then I'll change the AI Model to ChatGPT V4 and keep the character limit under 200.
We don't want to overwhelm the individual, and 6/10 times, I get acceptance.
When it comes to client Networking, I use Salee.
Now it does operate similarly to Connectgenie, but it doesn't offer the whole "generate note from post" thing.
So for this one, I normally visit the prospect's/lead's profile and click on the button "personalized request," and Salee generates me a hyper-personalized LinkedIn connection request. The cool thing about it is that it not only scans the prospect's profile but also their most recent post, as well as my profile, and then generates a connection note based on my prospects and my capability with them.
I normally get an acceptance rate ranging between 5-8 out of 10. In next week's Newsletter, I'll be revealing my Whole LinkedIn DM strategy and how I use... to not only write me personalized LinkedIn DMs to prospects but also acts as my Salesperson (haha).
