With more and more people working from home, there’s never been a huge consumption of social content like there is today.
If you think of it, every single social platform has now integrated vertical videos into the programming to not only attract new users but increase the number of active users on their platforms.
Social media platforms like TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and a bunch more are now being flooded with UGC content, influencer content, digital mavens, and now “founder-led content”.
However, with the rise of AI, there's a new category that’s being added to the mix, and that’s AI-generated content, but most know it as faceless content.
Platforms like Syllaby and Revid make it easy for anyone to turn a simple text into a video, but in today’s newsletter, I won’t be covering that.
I want to bring your attention to Opus Clip’s most recent feature release.

ClipAnything

This new feature by Opus Clip allows you to clip any moment from any video using visuals, audio, and sentiment cues.
Here’s what I mean by that.
As we all know, Opus Clip is an AI tool that allows users to upload their long-form content and then cuts it into 30-90 second clips which you can then post onto short-form platforms like TikTok, YouTube shorts, Instagram, and so on.
However, with this new feature, you can type in a scene or moment you want to clip out and turn into a 30-second reel.
Here’s an example:
Crazy right?
Here are some great ideas on how you can use Opus Clip's ClipAnything feature:
  • Content Creation:
    • Extract the most engaging moments from long-form videos for social media posts
    • Create highlight reels from live streams or gaming sessions

  • Social Media Management:
    • Repurpose long-form content into platform-specific short clips (e.g., for TikTok, Instagram Reels)
    • Create teasers for upcoming live streams or events
    • Extract quotable moments for text-overlay videos
  • Personal Use:
    • Create highlight reels from family videos or events
