Drawing inspiration from other YouTube creators doesn’t need to be as complicated as it is.
For most creator-preneurs (I don’t if that’s even a word), the biggest challenge about YouTube isn’t staying consistent with their publications… It’s the frustration of having to come up with new video ideas week after week, month after month with the hopes of one of them blowing up.
Which is why in today’s newsletter, I’ll be covering how you can take video inspiration from any video, in any niche with just a click of a button.
Let’s get into it.
So a few days back, VidIQ released a new feature called remix which allows you to take any video title from any video. Whether or not the video is relevant to your YouTube channel and audience, it doesn’t matter because it allows you to convert that video title into different video ideas that are relevant to your channel.
Here’s a great example of what I mean by that:
Let’s say your channel is all about teaching beginner bloggers how to blog and you stumble across one of Dan Koe’s videos titled “I made $800,000 in 1 year writing 2 hours a day.” What VidIQ’s remix thing will do is spit out a few ideas like “How I made $200,000 in 1 year from posting 1 blog every day” or “How I Made $200,000 Posting 1 Blog Daily for a Year”.
Here’s a quick video demonstration of how VidIQ’s Remix feature works:

Sadly, this feature is still in beta phase, so most of you might not have it available on your Chrome extensions by the time of this publication, but hopefully within a couple of weeks, it will be publicly available to all users (I’m one of the unlucky ones).
One other thing that I like about VidIQ’s September feature releases is their AI Generator.
Previously, you were only capable of doing 2 things with it:
Generating YouTube Thumbnails and Video titles, that’s all.

But with this new update you can generate:
  • Video titles
  • Description (I love it when it includes hashtags)
  • Tags
  • Thumbnail
  • Hook
  • Video Outlines
  • Video Script With AI voice over

Here’s a great example of finding video inspiration from others:
