How to Write LinkedIn Connection Notes That Get Accepted Using ConnectGenie
Learn how to write LinkedIn connection notes that get accepted using ConnectGenie. This guide shows you how to craft personalized requests, engage with prospects' posts, and increase your acceptance rate on LinkedIn.
Like me, you’ve probably been told that to get clients on LinkedIn, you need to start networking with other creators: "Send 10 connection requests every day and comment on loads of other creators' posts." But they never actually show you how?
How to write those connection requests.
How to get prospects to accept your connection requests.
So in this blog post, I will show you exactly how to do that!
Welcome to The Matchbox!
Where I get to show you how I use different AI tools to help simplify my work life and how you can do the same just by implementing what I teach.
And the AI tool you'll need to get things done?
Which is ConnectGenie!
What is ConnectGenie?
ConnectGenie is an AI tool for LinkedIn users that helps them generate personalized connection requests, comments, and create compelling job cover letters tailored to the user's profile.
Now, here's what ConnectGenie means for us:
Getting into our prospects' inboxes
No stress. No fuss. Just straight to the point.
Grabbing our prospects' attention
Leave a comment. Make an impact. Get noticed.
So, let me show you how to send personalized connection requests that will get accepted for sure.
Secondly, for this step to work, your prospect must be active on LinkedIn. She doesn't need to be active every day; once or twice a week is okay. If your prospect isn't really active on the platform, well, then this strategy might not really work.
Now for the actual steps:
Step 1: Go to your prospect profile and then click on any post of his or hers that resonates with you or has received the most engagement in a 7-day window.
Step 2: After clicking on the post, use ConnectGenie to generate either a casual comment or a funny one. It might differ depending on your target audience, but always set the AI model to GPT-4 and not GTP-4o.
Step 3: Now that you have generated and sent the comment that will either make your prospect laugh or think “this guy knows his stuff.”
We move onto step 4 which is sending a personalised connection requested based on the post you just wrote and sent a comment on.
Now you might be asking yourself how exactly?
With ConnectGenie of course!
Which is why ConnectGenie is just the best. It's not only limited to generated comments and personalized connect notes based on the individual's profile, but also their posts.
And all you have to do is scroll all the way up on that post you just left a comment on, click on the ConnectGenie logo and generate yourself a connection note that you will then copy, paste and send it to your prospect.
Why This Works:
Unlike most people who send a generic connection request and hope for the best, you went two steps further. You engaged with the prospect's post and left a valuable or funny comment.
Then, you followed up with a personalized connection note based on that post, showing your commitment and determination.
